CAMERON REMPEL

Cameron is an associate at Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP with a broad civil litigation practice.

While attending Queen's University Faculty of Law, Cameron completed a Master of Public Administration and obtained international business law and commercial arbitration certificates. An avid moot competitor, he was recognized as top oralist in the semi-final rounds of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition in Geneva, Switzerland, and placed second overall with his team.

Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP, Cameron clerked for six justices of the Supreme Court of British Columbia and worked at a commercial litigation boutique in downtown Vancouver. Since being called to the bar in British Columbia and Ontario, he has represented clients in commercial and securities disputes, fraud, conspiracy, class actions, defamation, civil sexual assault, contract and employment matters.

Cameron has acted at all stages of administrative proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, trials and appeals. He has appeared at provincial, superior and appellate courts across Canada, and administrative tribunals including the British Columbia Securities Commission and the Insurance Councils Appeal Board of Alberta.

Cameron contributes to the legal profession through law reform initiatives with the Canadian Bar Association. He previously sat on the CBABC Legislation and Law Reform Committee and is currently a member of the CBA’s Law Reform Subcommittee. The committees provide recommendations to provincial legislatures and Parliament with the goal of improving proposed and existing legislation.
