Simon Bieber, Cameron Rempel, and Caroline Harrell act for Cacoeli Asset Management Inc., a group of companies that operate as a private investment firm. The Ontario Securities Commission brought an application to appoint Doane Grant Thornton LLP as receiver over the companies. Most recently, our firm has sought leave to appeal the Court of Appeal for Ontario’s decision to uphold the receivership to the Supreme Court of Canada.
