AGB lawyers judge University of Toronto moot
Yesterday evening, three AGB lawyers - Rachel Allen, Sean Pierce, and Cameron Rempel - had the pleasure of judging the University of Toronto Faculty of Law's Upper Year Moot, on torts and contracts. Watching the next generation of litigators in action was both inspiring and energizing, with the students showcasing their advocacy skills, legal reasoning, and courtroom presence with confidence and poise.
Mooting is a demanding exercise. It requires deep legal analysis and persuasive argumentation, plus quick thinking: the ability to pivot your argument, and to answer challenging questions from a hot bench. We extend our congratulations to the mooters for their hard work and strong performances. The future of advocacy is bright, and we look forward to seeing these talented students continue to develop as they enter the legal profession.
