AGB named a Top Litigation Boutique by Canadian Lawyer magazine
AGB is pleased to announce that our firm has been recognized as a 2026-2027 Top Litigation Law Boutique by Canadian Lawyer magazine.
We are particularly proud to have received this recognition in every cycle since 2018-2019—coinciding with our firm's founding. In advance of this year's release, our Managing Partner Jordan Goldblatt sat down with Canadian Lawyer to talk about what has changed over the years, what has stayed the same, and what continues to set us apart.
Jordan highlighted in particular our firm's focus on associate development: "We think it’s really important as a litigation law boutique to give people the opportunity to get into court and take on substantive pieces of a file as early in their career as possible. The only way to learn this job is to get out and do it.”

About CL Top Litigation Law Boutiques
Canadian Lawyer’s eighth bi-annual Top Litigation Law Boutiques survey asked lawyers, in-house counsel, and clients across the country to select the litigation firms that represented the best in class in 2026. The final rankings identify the top 10 litigation firms in Eastern Canada and the top 5 litigation firms in Western Canada as determined through a points system in which firms were rewarded on a sliding scale for the number of votes by ranking.
The quantitative results were combined with the Lexpert peer survey results, where applicable, along with feedback from respected senior members of the bar and regional diversity considerations.
