Sean is developing a broad civil litigation practice, acting in complex commercial and contractual disputes, professional liability and regulation, and administrative, public, and constitutional law matters. He leverages his diverse professional background to provide pragmatic legal solutions.
Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber, Sean served as a law clerk at the Court of Appeal for Ontario to Justices Hoy, Paciocco, and Jamal (now of the Supreme Court of Canada), after which he worked at another prominent commercial litigation boutique in Toronto. Sean completed his articles at the Constitutional Law Branch of Ontario’s Ministry of the Attorney General and contributed as a legal researcher for the Long-Term Care Homes Public Inquiry led by Justice Eileen Gillese.
Sean is a talented advocate with a deep passion for the law. While studying at McGill University, he advised and represented students at university hearings as the Director of Student Advocacy for the Legal Information Clinic. He was also a Senior Editor for the McGill Law Journal and competed in the Wilson Moot, where his team won top factum and placed second overall. Sean has both civil and common law degrees and can assist clients in French and English.
Prior to law, Sean pursued a master’s in political science and completed a non-partisan parliamentary internship program. Assisting both government and opposition Members of Parliament, Sean developed strong foundations in advocacy and negotiation.
