Nathaniel Read-Ellis

Nate Read-Ellis is a partner at Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP.

Nate has a broad commercial litigation practice across a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, renewable energy, commercial real estate, financial services, and mining. His experience includes major contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, insolvencies and receiverships, class actions, tax litigation, competition disputes, and advertising litigation.

Nate has represented clients in private arbitrations and at all levels of court in Ontario. Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP, Nate worked for several years in the litigation group at Davies Ward Philips & Vineberg LLP.

Nate earned his law degree from the University of Toronto, where he received a number of awards for his academic achievement, including the Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP Award for Academic Excellence, the Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP Prize in Contracts, and the Blakes Scholar Award.

Nate is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, and he volunteers actively with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto.
