John Adair

John Adair is a founding partner of Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP.

John’s extensive experience includes litigating matters in the areas of commercial litigation, partnership disputes, professional negligence, administrative disputes, and estate litigation. John has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada on multiple occasions and the Court of Appeal for Ontario on over 30 appeals. He has conducted numerous trials and administrative hearings.

John is recognized by his peers as a leading lawyer. He is regularly invited to speak at conferences and conduct advocacy demonstrations. John is the author of numerous articles related to litigation issues, including evidence and expert witnesses, and is a recipient of the David Stockwood Memorial Prize, awarded biannually by The Advocates’ Journal.

John contributes to his profession and to the community. He has served as an instructor in the Trial Advocacy program at the University of Toronto and been a mentor to law students through the University of Toronto’s mentorship program. John has volunteered as a hockey coach, baseball coach, and swim instructor at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
