The Advocates' Society Fall Convention 2025
The Advocates' Society hosted its annual Fall Convention from November 12-16 in beautiful Punta Cacique, Costa Rica.
AGB partner Simon Bieber co-chaired this landmark, multi-day annual conference that brings together litigators from across the country to learn from each other and build relationships and collegiality across the profession. Simon also moderated engaging panels on the practices of specialized commercial courts across the country, recent cases that will change the way we practice, and what litigators and our court system can learn from commissions and inquiries.
John Adair spoke as a panelist on the latter session, drawing on his experience and insights from acting as Commission Counsel to The Honourable William Hourigan for The Ottawa Light Rail Transit Public Inquiry.
We want to express our deep appreciation for all of the organizers, speakers, attendees, and country hosts that made the 2025 Fall Convention another memorable one!
