Alex acts in all manner of civil and administrative litigation matters for her clients, which include businesses, individuals, professionals and their insurers, regulators, and integrity commissioners. Her experience spans complex commercial and partnership disputes, professional regulation and liability, defamation and privacy law, public law and accountability frameworks, and class actions. Alex has delivered results for clients at tribunals, in arbitration and mediation, at all levels of court in Ontario, and at the Supreme Court of Canada.

Alex began her legal career clerking for judges of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, where she gained unique insight into how judges think and how courts work. While at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Alex received the McCarthy Tétrault Prize and the Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP Award recognizing her overall academic achievement, as well awards recognizing her specific achievements in health and administrative law. Since graduating, Alex has returned to guest lecture on legal research and writing.

As the AGB's Director of Operations, Alex oversees the firm's strategic direction and day-to-day management. She develops and implements initiatives that simultaneously foster a positive workplace culture and optimize each client’s experience by promoting excellence, efficiency, and innovation. Alex is particularly passionate about supporting the firm’s lawyers with the training, opportunities, and mentorship essential to the development of fulfilling legal careers.
