Alex Fidler-Wener, with a colleague at her prior firm, acted as counsel for the College of Physicians and Surgeons in this professional discipline matter before the Discipline Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. She contributed to the successful defence of a motion to stay the proceeding as an abuse of process, and to the Discipline Committee's ultimate finding that the respondent doctor's conduct would reasonably be regarded by members as disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional.
