Emily is developing a broad litigation practice. Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber, Emily completed her articles as a judicial law clerk at the Court of Appeal for Ontario and worked as a summer student at Ontario’s Ministry of the Attorney General - Constitutional Law Branch. 

Emily earned her law degree from Western University, where she was awarded the Arthur T. Little Scholarship and Gold Medal for attaining the highest standing in her graduating class. Throughout law school, Emily received numerous other awards, including the Law Society of Ontario Prize, A.B. Siskind Scholarship, Robert M. Solomon Scholarship in Tort Law, and Fasken Martineau Dumoulin LLP Award. She also worked as a research assistant for Professor Wade Wright, contributing to to his two seminal texts: Peter Hogg's Constitutional Law of Canada and Liability of the Crown.

A passionate advocate, Emily competed and excelled in several advocacy competitions throughout law school, including the Lerners LLP Moot (Top Team), Canadian Client Consultation Competition (Semi-Finalist), and the Wilson Moot. Translating her academic and mooting accomplishments into the delivery of practical legal representation, Emily honed her client-centred approach to advocacy while volunteering at the Elgin Oxford Legal Clinic, where she assisted with appeals to the Social Benefits Tribunal.

Before law school, Emily completed a First Class Joint Honours Bachelor of Arts at McGill University with a double major in Political Science and English - Drama and Theatre. She currently volunteers with the Philip Aziz Centre at Emily’s House, where she facilitates programming for children with complex care needs.
