Please join us in welcoming AGB's newest associate, Emily Vaillancourt.
Emily joins us having completed her articles as a judicial law clerk for the justices of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, before which she summered at Ontario’s Ministry of the Attorney General - Constitutional Law Branch.
Emily graduated as the Gold Medalist from the Faculty of Law at Western University, where she was also a highly accomplished mooter, receiving top rankings in various mooting competitions. Emily honed her practical, client-centred approach to advocacy through clinic work, and also worked as a research assistant for Professor Wade Wright, contributing to his two seminal texts on public and constitutional law: Peter Hogg's Constitutional Law of Canada and Liability of the Crown.
On this strong foundation, Emily is looking forward to building a broad civil litigation practice.
