John Adair and Emily Vaillancourt successfully represented the respondent plaintiff in this medical negligence appeal, securing a decision upholding the trial judge's finding of negligence and award of approximately $1.3 million in damages for loss of income and pension loss. The Court of Appeal for Ontario wholly accepted John and Emily's submissions, dismissing the physician's challenges to the trial judge's analysis of the standard of care, causation, and damages.
