AGB is pleased to welcome Jacqueline Houston to the firm.
Jacqueline is developing a broad litigation practice. She leverages her background in journalism to translate sophisticated legal analysis into focused, compelling advocacy. She is passionate about gaining a deep understanding of clients’ issues and objectives, and honing in on the core elements of each dispute to deliver solutions.
Before joining AGB, Jacqueline practiced commercial litigation at a leading full-service firm, where she completed her articles and worked as an associate. While earning her law degree at the University of Ottawa, Jacqueline applied top legal research and analysis grades to a technology law research internship and a student term at the Ecojustice Environmental Law Clinic.
Jacqueline balanced her law degree with two consecutive summers working as an editor at the The Globe and Mail. Along with hard drafting skills, Jacqueline brings a journalist’s analytical rigour, good judgment, and sense of story to her legal practice. She understands the value of an impactful narrative. Jacqueline's clients benefit from her ability to skillfully distill the facts of each case, craft compelling narratives, and incorporate them into her advocacy.
