The fourth annual Prisme Conference is underway, running from July 15-18 at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. Prisme is an annual conference presented by the Canadian Association of LGBTQ2S+ Lawyers ("Call-Acal"). This year's theme is Unity in Law: Shaping the Future of 2SLGBTQ+ Rights.
AGB lawyer, Rachel Allen, is on the Board of Directors of Call-Acal and is the conference's Director of Logistics. She has worked tirelessly to ensure the entire event runs smoothly and effectively, allowing for maximum insight, inspiration, and connection. Both Rachel and Katie Glowach are in attendance, and AGB is proud to sponsor the event.
With Prisme, Call-Acal creates an inclusive and collaborative forum to discuss current issues facing 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in the legal profession and the advancement of 2SLGBTQ+ rights, both in Canada and around the world. The conference brings together judges, lawyers, activists and students from across the country, all with a commitment to building networks in our communities and increasing representation and equity for 2SLGBTQ+ legal professionals in Canada and advancing 2SLGBTQ+ human rights.
