AGB continues to rise in Chambers Canada 2025

On September 26, 2024, Chambers & Partners released the Chambers Canada 2025 Guide, differentiating the best legal talent across a range of provincial, national and international law firms from across the country.

AGB is incredibly proud to announce that our firm and lawyers have again been recognized for litigation excellence. Year-over-year, AGB and our lawyers continue to rise in Chambers' rankings.

Ranked for the past several years by Chambers in the Litigation: General Commercial category, AGB has risen in the rankings this year to Band 4. Chambers' research notes that clients describe AGB as "a fantastic boutique" with "a high level of skill and a deep bench". Testimonials consistently reflect that clients know they can trust AGB lawyers - at all levels of experience - to deliver timely, practical, sound advice that a reflects a strong understanding of their commercial realities. For example:

  • "Adair Goldblatt Bieber provides excellent, pragmatic and timely advice. Every lawyer we have worked with at this firm has been extremely capable."
  • "They come into our negotiations with strong commercial awareness. Where there is more to be learned, they do a good job of asking questions and getting the background they need in order to provide sound advice."
  • "It is an exceptional firm, able to execute well on all parts of the litigation process. They have a high commercial awareness and are able to translate and apply their wisdom in new situations."

Our individual lawyers also continue to be recognized by Chambers, with new AGB lawyers added to (and rising within) the rankings with each passing year:

  • John Adair and Simon Bieber continue to be ranked individually in the Litigation: General Commercial category;
  • Jordan Goldblatt joins them this year, with clients describing him as "an expert in his area", "very practical", and  "professional, precise, and efficient". Perhaps least surprising (for those who know Jordan!), clients note that he is "very practical and very funny" and that "he is serious when it comes to litigating but fun to work with, which is important when you're involved in a litigation"; and
  • Julia Wilkes is recognized for the first time this year as an "up and coming" lawyer in the Litigation: Administrative & Public Law category. Julia's clients appreciate her "expert knowledge", "broad and deep experience in the field",  and that she consistently delivers "outstanding service and work product", "provides excellent service for complex litigation", and is "innovative [and] listens to [her clients'] point of view".

These rankings and their upward trajectory are a testament to AGB's increasing presence and entrenchment as one of Canada's premier litigation boutiques.
