Jocelyn (Joey) Howell is a partner at Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP.
Jocelyn maintains a broad civil litigation practice, with a focus on corporate commercial disputes, professional liability, securities litigation, internal investigations, and administrative law. Jocelyn has represented clients before Ontario’s Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and Court of Appeal.
Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP, Jocelyn served as a judicial law clerk to judges of the Court of Appeal for Ontario. She previously articled at Stikeman Elliott LLP and worked as a summer student in the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health’s Legal Services Department. While articling, Jocelyn completed a secondment at the Ontario Securities Commission in the Corporate Finance Branch.
Jocelyn graduated from Queen’s University’s faculty of law with the third-highest cumulative standing in her class. While at law school, Jocelyn received awards in public law and trial advocacy, competed in the Laskin administrative law moot, and volunteered as a caseworker at the Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic.
