At his prior firm, Rob successfully represented Canadian sports law expert Richard McLaren in an action brought by three Russian cyclists who alleged that they suffered damages arising from Mr. McLaren’s investigation of an alleged Russian state-sponsored doping program prior to the 2016 Rio Olympics. The Court granted summary judgment dismissing the claim against Mr. McLaren and the World Anti-Doping Agency on jurisdictional grounds.
