We are delighted to announce Adair Goldblatt Bieber's newest associate, Emma March.
Emma joins AGB with an impressive track record. She graduated with the Gold Medal in Law for graduating first in her class at Queen's Law. She also achieved the highest standing in both her second and third years, earning the Dean’s Gold Scholar Award in each year and numerous additional academic awards and course prizes. Emma summered and articled with a leading global law firm in Toronto where she gained experience across a range of complex litigation matters, and then served as a judicial law clerk at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. She will begin a year-long clerkship with Justice Kasirer at the Supreme Court of Canada later this year.
During law school, Emma also clerked at the Ontario Court of Justice, represented clients as a caseworker with Queen’s Legal Aid, competed in the Wilson Moot, and served as a research assistant in the areas of Aboriginal and Criminal Law.
Prior to law school, Emma completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Classics, specializing in ancient legal systems. She graduated as the medalist in her department and received the SSHRC J.-A. Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship and the Tri-Council Recipient Recognition Award in support of her Master’s research.
Informed by her varied experience, Emma is an insightful and creative litigator with a practical, action-oriented approach. She brings analytical rigor to complex cases, distilling what will matter most to advance her clients’ interests, and then delivering clear, strategic guidance that drives results.
