AGB is pleased to welcome David Ionis to the firm.

David is a clear-thinking advocate who thrives confronting complex issues. He maintains a broad litigation practice, acting in complex commercial, contractual, and shareholder disputes, insolvency proceedings, judicial reviews, and constitutional challenges. David’s clients are wide-ranging, and have included public and private companies, individuals, regulatory agencies, and municipal governments.

David comes to AGB with exceptional training and experience in litigation. He summered and articled at Davies Ward Phillips Vineberg LLP, clerked for Justices of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and most recently joins us from Lax O'Sullivan Lisus Gottlieb LLP where he gained significant and varied advocacy experience. David has appeared before legislative committees, the Superior Court, the Commercial List, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Court of Appeal of Alberta, and the Supreme Court of Canada. David leverages his varied experience to provide clients with effective representation regardless of the issues they face or the decision maker before which they appear.
