David maintains a broad litigation practice, acting in complex commercial, contractual, and shareholder disputes, insolvency proceedings, judicial reviews, and constitutional challenges. David’s clients have included wealthy individuals, public and private companies, regulatory agencies, and municipal governments, and he has appeared before legislative committees, the Superior Court, the Commercial List, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Court of Appeal of Alberta, and the Supreme Court of Canada. David leverages his varied experience to provide clients with quality representation regardless of the issues they face or the decision maker they appear before.

Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber, David summered and articled at Davies Ward Phillips Vineberg LLP, clerked for Justices Tulloch (as he then was), Miller, and Coroza of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and practiced at Lax O'Sullivan Lisus Gottlieb LLP.

David received his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019, where he graduated in the top 2% of his class and won a host of scholarships and academic awards, including for his top standing in Administrative Law and in his graduating class. David was an avid mooter throughout his time in law school, placing as a Distinguished Oralist in the Lerners Cup and participating in the Laskin and Wilson Competitive Cups. He also volunteered with the Community & Legal Aid Services Program as an Administrative Law Division Caseworker.

Before law school, David worked for the federal government within the Independent Assessment Process created by the Residential Schools Settlement Agreement.
