The Osgoode Cup

AGB lawyer David Ionis is looking forward to returning to Osgoode Hall Law School at York University today to judge The Osgoode Cup, Canada’s largest and longest-running undergraduate mooting competition.

Since 2005, hundreds of undergraduate students from across the country have competed for Canada’s most esteemed undergraduate mooting championship. The competition provides participants with the opportunity to network with legal professionals and learn more about careers in law and legal advocacy.

Having participated in The Osgoode Cup as an undergraduate student , David is looking forward to serving on the other side of the bench. For many participants, the competition is their first opportunity to engage with the law and develop their oral advocacy skills. David is honoured to be part of an event that continues to inspire the next generation of advocates.
