Jordan Goldblatt and Emma March acted successfully, along with Erin Simpson and Alyssa Esteves of Landings LLP, on a pro bono basis in an urgent injunction that sought to give effect to an agreement by which Canada would coordinate for a Haitian refugee to be brought from an ICE Detention Facility in the United States to Canada so that his Canadian asylum claim could be determined. Following the injunction, the individual was brought to Canada.
