Katie Glowach is an associate at Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP.
Katie maintains a broad litigation practice including defamation, complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, professional liability and regulation, securities litigation, and public and administrative law. Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber, Katie practiced at Lenczner Slaght LLP and clerked at the Nova Scotia Supreme Court.
Katie attended Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law, graduating on the Dean’s List. She also received several scholarships and prizes, including: the Frank Covert Memorial Scholarship for academic excellence and speaking skills, the Arthur R. Moreira, QC Memorial Prize in Equity and Trusts, the Nathalie Goyette Prize in Tax Law, and the Robert E. Bamford Memorial Award, awarded to the student who best combines academic excellence with a commitment to the law school community. During her studies, Katie competed in the Laskin Moot in Canadian administrative and constitutional law, where her team placed first in written advocacy. Katie also served as Co-Chair for the Dalhousie OUTLaw Society.
Prior to attending law school, Katie obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Computing Information Systems and Finance and worked for the Government of the Northwest Territories in various systems analysis and project management roles.
