Pedro is developing a broad litigation practice. Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber, Pedro completed his articles and practiced as counsel with Ontario’s Ministry of the Attorney General - Crown Law Office - Civil, where he gained significant advocacy experience across a broad range of complex litigation matters before all levels of court in Ontario and various tribunals.
Pedro earned his law degree from Queen’s University. While in law school, he interned with the Department of Justice’s National Litigation Sector - Civil Litigation in Ottawa. He also served as the Managing Editor of the Canadian Guide to Legal Style, and held several roles with the Queen’s Law Students’ Society, contributing to the review of the Faculty’s JD Program. In recognition of academic achievement and commitment to advocacy, Pedro earned the Vic Freidin, Law ‘71 Memorial Award and earned the top course mark in Appellate Advocacy.
Before law school, Pedro completed his undergraduate degree in Law at Carleton University. During the last three years of his degree, Pedro worked on criminal matters before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
