Emily is a passionate advocate who leverages her background in media and communications to deliver creative and compelling advocacy. She takes great care to ensure her clients’ voices are heard and that their needs and goals are effectively met.

Emily is developing a broad civil and commercial litigation practice. Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber, Emily practiced as a litigation associate at Stikeman Elliot LLP. She has also served as a judicial law clerk for the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, where she gained a wide range of litigation experience supporting judges across civil, commercial, public, family, and criminal law.
Emily holds a law degree from the University of Toronto, where she was actively involved in the faculty’s competitive moot program. She was both a top-ranked competitor and a coach for the Cassels Brock Cup, the Gale Cup Moot, and the Canadian Copyright Policy Moot. She also participated in the University of Toronto’s Criminal Appellate Litigation Externship, where she spent her 3rd year of law school assisting a group of criminal lawyers with several appeals before the Supreme Court of Canada.
