Michael Darcy

Michael Darcy is an associate at Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP.

Michael maintains a broad litigation practise, representing clients in commercial disputes, class actions, professional negligence claims, and tax litigation. He has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court, and the Tax Court of Canada.

Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP, Michael practised as a tax litigator with the Department of Justice, and a litigation associate with Wardle Daley Bernstein Bieber LLP and Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.

Michael graduated from Dalhousie as the gold medalist of his class, receiving numerous academic awards and distinctions, including being named a Schulich Scholar and a Blakes Scholar. Following law school, Michael completed his articles clerking for the Honourable Justice Eleanor Dawson of the Federal Court of Appeal. He also holds an LL.M. in International Taxation from New York University, where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar and a Hauser Global Scholar.
