Chris maintains a broad civil litigation practice with an emphasis on employment issues, real estate disputes, and corporate litigation. He represents clients in a wide range of matters, and has appeared before trial and appellate courts in both Ontario and British Columbia. Prior to joining Adair Goldblatt Bieber, Chris served as a litigation associate at a national firm and clerked for four judges of the British Columbia Supreme Court.

Chris earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, where he distinguished himself by winning numerous prizes for academic excellence, including those recognizing his overall academic accomplishment, contribution to public life, and specific achievements in commercial law, business associations, evidence law, and tax law. While in law school Chris worked on law reform initiatives with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives and the United Food and Commercial Workers Union.

Outside law, Chris has published op-eds in prominent publications such as the Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail. He is a member of ExeQutive, a forum for Toronto/GTA-based LGBTQ leaders, and is an engaged advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. Chris is Chair of Adair Goldblatt Bieber’s Inclusion Committee.
